Exploring meaning in the surreal world of dreams.
A Project exploring the concept of dream analysis and what people dream about. I took inspiration from Carl Jung's theories on analyzing a dream, combining them with the weird abstract and surreal dreams myself and those around me had. Creating a zine, that coincides with an exhibition, providing a visual guide to the topic that is engaging, entertaining and educational. Hoping to make the concept of analyzing dreams more accessible, fun and appealing
The zine provides the reader instructions on how to interpret their own dreams in 5 simple steps. Following with examples of other peoples dreams to get them thinking of how they may interpret them, before providing space for them to record their own dreams and start their very own dream diary.
The zine features a qr codes which, when scanned, transports the reader to a virtual life size exhibition that they can walk around. Giving them an opportunity to explore some of the illustrators from the size and read about the dreams that go alongside them.
Promotional posters and banners for the zine and exhibition with a qr code that links to the brands website, using simple layouts and engaging copy to draw attention while creating intrigue into the brand.
The brand's website featuring a home page, shop where users can purchase the zine and other products, an about page giving more information on the digital exhibition and zine, and a virtual version of the exhibition.
An example of how social media could be used to promote the zine and augmented reality exhibition and ways the brand could interact with its audience through the use of Instagram stories. The account would link to the website where users can purchase the zine and related promotional products such as bedding.
