RSA MOVING IMAGE
The RSA Moving Picture Brief involved producing an animation to accompany one of two selected audio files that clarified, energized and illuminated the content. I chose the audio file 'Change is necessary' by Sarah Ichioka. that spoke on the need for new ways of design and thinking that focuses on not only maintaining but improving systems for the benefit of all life, not just a select minority. Providing an introduction to a new way of thinking that explores how we can shape a thriving future for us all.
I took a typographic approach to the brief, exploring how the use of type could enhance the key messages from the audio and make what's being said more impactful. Playing with using Kinetic type as image and considering how it helped the audience to better understand the content. Focusing on avoiding relying heavily on the exact words being said in the audio, but for the most part staying with a single word 'change', and then occasionally pulling out key words to emphasize there importance.
