THE MARVELLOUS SPACE LIFT

University project with the goal of creating a poster in order to brand an experience based on a location. I explored a wide range of initial ideas from seagull dodging at the pier to a rubber duck festival. my final design focused on the idea of transforming a lift into a space travel experience. I enjoyed the idea of taking spaces people commonly used but can be fairly mundane, altering them to become exciting and engaging spaces.
The branded experience aimed to make lifts more exciting and engaging by completely transforming them into a way to travel to the stars. Featuring a simulated space travel experience combing the use of screens, light, and sound in order to achieve a fully immersive adventure into the cosmic ocean.
The poster design featured augmented reality interaction that allowed the viewer to scan the poster using Artivive and watch as the planet mascot took to space using the lift as a rocket travelling across the stars!
